Tarif

The normal moobil+ fare applies on the line. The ticket price for one adult, for example, for a one-way trip is 2.00 euros in the first fare zone. One fare zone is the same as the area of a town or municipality. If a trip covers multiple towns/municipalities, the ticket price goes up by 1.00 euro for each new zone.

Beispiele:

  • 1 fare zone/municipality: 2.00 euros
  • 2 fare zones/municipalities: 3.00 euros
  • 3 fare zones/municipalities: 4.00 euros

Passengers on buses on the OM1 line can also use the saver ticket:

  • Valid for the calendar month specified at the time of purchase
  • Adults: 19.00 euros / month
  • Children, school students, trainees and others entitled to concessions according to Section 4 of the fare regulations: 14.00 / month
  • Can be purchased on the moobil+ buses and in the mobility centres.
  • The Deutschlandticket is also valid

You can find the full range of fares here.

You can find the fare regulations here.

Design

The buses have 43 seats and 45 standing places. Since the new vehicles were not yet available when the OM1 line was launched in December 2023, they will only come into service in 2024 – when they will feature the unmistakable OM1 design.

Until then, you can travel on the buses operated by SBV Janßen GmbH & Co. KG from Saterland, which will be operating the route on behalf of the districts of Vechta and Cloppenburg.

An entire taxi at half price!

From 3 June, you can use moobil+Taxi throughout the district of Vechta. moobil+Taxi has already been available over the past year in Lohne and Dinklage when there are no other public transport options. To provide the service, we cooperate with local taxi firms, which enables us to offer you a flexible and discounted transport service during the week and at weekends. moobil+Taxi is a pilot project with a grand vision: It aims to close mobility gaps and thus to strengthen and connect up the region.

How it works

moobil+Taxi – the perfect addition to moobil+Bus.

  • How it works: simple and convenient

You book your journey conveniently via your “mein moobil+” app or via the journey planner. The booking system will then automatically find the best connection for you.

If there are no buses or trains available for the time or route you specified, you can book a moobil+Taxi up to 30 minutes before departure. Only for journeys before 08.00 is it necessary to book before 20.00 the evening before.

Once your booking is successful, you will receive a booking confirmation via e-mail or SMS with the following details:

    • Departure and arrival times
    • Start and end stops
    • Total number of all persons booked on your journey
    • Ticket types and prices.

Alternatively, you can also book as usual by telephone or in person at the mobility centre.

  • What it costs: basic fare + half the cost of a taxi

You pay a basic fare of 2 euros for trips within one municipality. For journeys between two municipalities, the basic fare will be 3 euros. Incidentally, the basic fare is waived for passengers with a disability and a valid token.

In addition, half of the regular taxi fare will be charged, because the district of Vechta pays the remaining 50 % of your taxi fare.

And if you share a journey, then of course it is even cheaper. If another person is travelling on your route, you share the subsidised taxi fare and the price is automatically reduced in your billing account.

  • How to pay: cashless via the booking app

Payment is exclusively cashless and takes place during the booking process. That means that if you wish to use moobil+Taxi, you need your own moobil+ billing account.

  • More for those with disabilities

This is a service you can rely on: Guests who have a disability and hold a valid token can be picked up directly at their chosen address.

For verification, please send us a photo of the valid token via e-mail or show it to us in person at the mobility centre. After successful approval, all the necessary details will then be logged in your billing account for your next booking.

The basic moobil+ fee is waived upon presentation of a valid token, but the surcharge for the taxi must be paid accordingly.

Help

Here you’ll find answers to frequently asked questions

How far in advance do I need to book a journey?

Available trips with moobil+Taxi must be booked up to 30 minutes before departure if the journey is to take place after 08.00. If the trip is to take place before 08.00, you will need to book before 20.00 on the preceding day.

Can I cancel a trip after I've booked it?

Yes, bookings for trips after 08.00 can be cancelled free of charge up to 30 minutes before the departure time. Bookings for trips before 08.00 can be cancelled free of charge before 20.00 on the previous evening.

What will it cost me if I don’t cancel a booked trip and don’t show up?

In this case, the price stated during the booking process will be debited from your billing account.

How is the booking confirmed?

You can specify whether you prefer to receive booking confirmations via e-mail or SMS when you set up the required billing account.

Will the moobil+Taxi wait for me if I’m late?

As with buses and trains, it is not possible for the moobil+Taxi to wait beyond the specified departure time.

Is moobil+Taxi always available?

If moobil+Taxi is available, this will be shown automatically during the booking process. Theoretically, when there are major events in the region, such as the Stoppelmarkt, it may be that all the vehicles of the cooperating taxi companies are already in use during the time you wish to travel. However, the system will automatically show you the next available option for travel during the booking process.

Where can I use moobil+Taxi?

You can use moobil+Taxi within Dinklage and Lohne and for journeys between the two towns. However, if the pilot project is successful we plan to expand the service to the entire district of Vechta.

What are virtual stops?

Virtual stops are special places where the moobil+Taxi will stop, but where no stop sign has been put up. Instead of a stop name, the system specifies a particular address where the moobil+Taxi will pick you up or drop you off. The booking system automatically determines whether there is a virtual stop near to the addresses you specify, so you don’t have to worry about virtual stops.

There are currently around 30 virtual stops:

  • Bahlen, Kramer/Sieve
  • Bünne, Kröger
  • Dinklage, Auf dem Hövel
  • Dinklage, Bockhorster Moor
  • Dinklage, Bockhorster Moor A1
  • Dinklage, Bokhorster Weg
  • Dinklage, Bollinger Hövel
  • Dinklage, Dietr.-Bonh.-Str.
  • Dinklage, Fasanenweg
  • Dinklage, Helenenstraße
  • Dinklage, Hof Kröger
  • Dinklage, Holdorfer Straße
  • Dinklage, Kastanienallee
  • Dinklage, Kath. Kirche
  • Dinklage, Kloster Martinsscheune
  • Dinklage, Köhne
  • Dinklage, Kolpingstraße / ev. Friedhof
  • Dinklage, POCO
  • Dinklage, Steinf. Str. / Hold. Str.
  • Dinklage, Trenkampsbach
  • Höne, Höner Heide
  • Langwege, Obsthof
  • Langwege, Schützenplatz
  • Langwege, Vosshögde
  • Lohne, Burg Hopen
  • Lohne, Innovationscampus
  • Lohne, Lohneum
  • Schwege, Schwegmann / Groß-Klussmann
How does the pick-up from an address work?

If the nearest moobil+Taxi stop is more than 600 m from your chosen address within the area served, the moobil+Taxi will pick you up directly from that address. During the booking process, the system automatically determines how far away the nearest stop is and offers you a moobil+ stop, a virtual stop or the specific address accordingly.

Passengers with a disability and a valid token can have their billing account activated accordingly and can be picked up from, or taken to, a specific address at any time. For verification, please send us a photo of the valid token via e-mail or show it to us in person at the mobility centre. After successful approval, all the necessary details will then be logged in your billing account for your next booking.

Can I pay cash directly to the moobil+Taxi?

No, you have to set up a moobil+ billing account. The billing account is topped up with credit, which is then used for booking the relevant trips. However, you can use cash to top up your credit at the mobility centres.

How do I recognise the moobil+Taxi?

The cooperating taxi firms label their moobil+Taxis with a sign that is clearly visible behind the windscreen. You will also be given the name of the taxi company and the corresponding telephone number in the booking confirmation.

Can I take my wheelchair, pushchair, suitcase or shopping with me?

As a general rule, it is possible to take items that would fit into a normal taxi, so a folding pushchair or wheelchair, or a suitcase or shopping, shouldn’t be a problem. Please bear in mind, though, that there may be other passengers travelling with you. If in doubt, speak to the relevant taxi company; the contact details will be supplied to you together with the booking confirmation.
